Because bitcoins have increased in value so much over the past several months, investing in this new digital currency has generated unprecedented interest. However, most people don't want to just stuff their bitcoin inside of an electronic wallet and wait for the value to increase because of scarcity and demand. Prudent and ambitious bitcoin owners want the freedom to invest their electronic money in order to put these valuable assets to work for them. This is no different than investing any other kind of money like dollars or Euros or pounds. However, bitcoin owners could find few safe and secure alternatives when they wanted to actually use their digital currency. In the past, investing usually meant having to exchange bitcoin for a country's currency before making an investment. Additionally, investors would have to convert that currency back to bitcoin if they wanted to increase the value of their wallets. These same investors might have to pay fees for each transaction too. We believed it would be much more convenient and profitable to simply let investors invest and withdraw in bitcoin without having to make an exchange.
